Gus started his own management consulting practice in late 2012 after over twelve years with A.T. Kearney and Oliver Wyman, where he managed strategy, due diligence, restructuring/operations improvement and cost reduction projects primarily in the aviation, aerospace and surface transportation sectors. His experience includes projects based in over a dozen countries throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the South Pacific. Prior to focusing his career on business strategy consulting, Gus was a flight test engineer.

He holds a B.S.E. with honors in aerospace and mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, as well as an M.B.A. from London Business School. Gus is fluent in English and Portuguese, and also has demonstrated proficiency in conducting business in both German and Spanish.

While the world is his playground (for both work and fun), he calls the San Francisco Bay area home and enjoys his free time cooking, practicing outdoor sports, and playing classical piano.
